Press releases The silence is booming when the red giant comes rolling. German Linde has developed 12 quiet models in this new series of powerful electric trucks with lifting capacities ranging from 10 to 18 tonnes. This offers new possibilities for the timber, steel and construction industries, as well as other companies that need to move more heavy-duty goods.

"Unlike diesel or LPG forklift trucks, the strong and electric-powered Linde E100-180 can also operate indoors. It offers zero emissions, ultra-quiet operation, easy maintenance, flexibility and an incredible driver comfort for the category," says Lars Søgaard from N.C. Nielsen.

The secret behind the Linde machines is an innovative drive concept with four engines, two on the left and two on the right wheels. This gives the truck the necessary power to handle loads of up to 18 tonnes and lifting heights up to 10 metres. The truck can also achieve driving speeds of 20 km/h in just 10 seconds, even with a full load.

It's quick and easy to replace the batteries in the Linde E100-180 series. What's unique about this truck is that you can always select the energy source best suited to the task. Some people opt to drive with lead-acid batteries for low and mid-weight and frequency tasks, while more demanding jobs with a high frequency of repetition are performed with Lithium-ION batteries.

"The new electric-powered technology is advanced and can keep pace with existing technologies. The new electric trucks are next-level German engineering, reflecting the Linde brand in the best way possible – not only in terms of safety and ergonomics but also in regard to handling ability, service and optional equipment," says Lars Søgaard.

The truck's field of vision is enhanced by the high position of the cab. An armoured glass roof, combined with large windows in the side doors, front windows and rear windows, offers an exceptionally good view and improves safety while driving. You'll also find optional equipment such as a driver's seat that can turn 17 degrees, thereby increasing safety even further.

From their place in the cab, the operator has a complete view of both machine and driving areas. The ergonomically shaped driver's seat reduces the physical strain, and the truck can handle its load for hours with ease. Precision driving also means that the truck moves elegantly, contributing towards a comfortable driving experience.

The truck is designed to provide easy access to the technical components. Repairs are simple to carry out and downtime is reduced due to ease of maintenance. Standard components make repairs even easier.
