Case
The partnership between N.C. Nielsen and Viggo Petersens Efterfølger A/S persists. The well-known carrier recently received 31 Linde pallet lifters, so the combined machine fleet currently totals more than 70 Linde models. The new pallet lifters from N.C. Nielsen will keep internal transport working at full capacity round-the-clock.
Viggo Petersens Efterfølger A/S has its headquarters and distribution centre in Taastrup from where more than 100 blue lorries go to customers in 27 postcodes in Zealand and between regions. The intense traffic always requires a fully operational Linde fleet on the floor and in the lorries where each driver will bring a Linde pallet lifter to handle the goods.
Focus at the company is to deliver pallet cargo just-in-time as agreed with the customer. Internal transport has been outsourced to N.C. Nielsen via a rental contract with full service, insurance, financing etc., so the fleet is constantly in operation, and machines can be exchanged flexibly according to the current need in the rental period.

The freight market is highly competitive. A top tuned fleet of lifting equipment and constant measurements by e.g. loading time, delivery time and charging time for batteries are therefore important. The many Linde pallet lifters have resulted in a continuous flow, higher speeds for pallet goods, fewer collisions and strategically placed battery chargers at the ramps so that drivers can easily booster charge.
All Linde machines at Viggo Petersens Efterfølger are equipped with N.C. Nielsen’s proprietary Lithium-ION batteries. That is due to the green technology of the future, the fact that the batteries can booster charge between runs and that the batteries have a long life, thus contributing to keeping the wheels turning at the company.
