Press releases N.C. Nielsen is now presenting the new Linde X20-X35 electric trucks taking on the conventional lpg and diesel forklift trucks with lifting capacities of between 2.0 and 3.5 tonnes. Linde has developed the sturdy electric forklift trucks of tomorrow - at home in the outdoor environment and meeting the intensely increasing demands for sustainable, comfortable and productive truck solutions.

More and more N.C. Nielsen customers request electric, sustainable and climate-neutral machines to drive in the open air. The challenge has been whether electric trucks could achieve in the open as well as lpg forklift trucks and diesel forklift trucks. That is no longer a challenge. Linde X20-X35 has been developed to meet all demands for performance, sturdiness, safety, driving properties and zero emissions.

Innovative technology

To Linde, it was not only a matter of increasing the effect. Linde 1252X was created on a new, technological platform where thousands of components have been redesigned and simplified so that the truck series is a brand-new, incomparable truck type. In line with that fundamental idea, the Linde 1252X truck has become an innovative example of German engineering at its very best.

 - It actually is quite a revolutionary technology on the truck market. It is a huge shift for Linde as well as for the industry as a whole. Removing categories, thinking along the lines of new technology that is more about green transition, energy optimisation, digitisation, productivity and driver comfort rather than the actual energy source, says Lars Westmark, Linde Country Manager, N.C. Nielsen.

The code has been cracked

Linde 1252X (and the other Linde 12xx series) made it possible to crack the code of counterbalance trucks of the future and to meet the complex needs of the market for optimised forklift trucks. The Linde X20-X35 model series represents the new market logic with particularly sturdy machines for heavy goods handling in the outdoor environment within a number of industries.

The new Linde electric trucks have been built from scratch. For example, the German engineers developed a brand-new front axle with two built-in engines with integrated elastomer-clad rings in the construction, so that part as well can mitigate vibrations from the base. The front axle alone has increased performance by 15% compared to conventional electric forklift trucks with the same capacity.

Powerful driving properties

A redesigned chassis (in several variants) results in a low centre of gravity, and combined with a long wheelbase and specially developed tyres, a Linde 1252X forklift truck has a good grip. Different assistance systems and options also make it possible to lift the overall driving experience even further, thus making general goods handling easier.

Pure sturdiness

Linde 1252X has been built to be used with extreme performance in mind. All components have been developed in the most durable materials, and the forklift truck can regulate its own health with relevant driving data and an intelligent cooling system that ensures the right temperature as well as hermetically sealed systems that tolerate dust, dirt and other external contamination.

Lithium-ION batteries

Exceptional performance requires an exceptional energy system. The new Linde electric trucks are therefore equipped with a high-performance Lithium-ION battery. They have high energy efficiency, a brief charge cycle and can booster charge during breaks and at the end of the day.
