Press releases The joy of anticipation is the greatest of all, and according to N.C. Nielsen, something extraordinary is expected when Linde’s new products arrive in early 2024. We can look forward to a plethora of technological advancements that will refine internal logistics and make life easier for employees using the technology daily.

As a full-line supplier, N.C. Nielsen presents a unified Linde solution and a competitive value proposition based on technological development, safety consulting, energy optimization, fleet management, financing, and service quality. In short: A 360-degree perspective on all customers’ logistics challenges.

Intelligent logistics is the keyword at Linde, which aims to challenge conventional thinking and develop technological innovations based on scientific and need-based principles. For over 50 years, the collaboration between N.C. Nielsen and Linde has led to thousands of warehouse solutions built on solid knowledge, many personal relationships, and ongoing development efforts.

“The coming period will feature a wealth of Linde innovations that will raise the technological bar. We look forward to 2024, where internal logistics will contribute even more to precision, efficiency, safety, and job satisfaction for employees. Linde brings it all, simplifies complicated processes, and ultimately creates attractive workplaces,” says Jesper Bech, Sales Manager at N.C. Nielsen.

Linde News on the Starting Blocks
At the beginning of the new year, Linde will present a series of product innovations for warehouse technology: two Linde D12 double stackers, two Linde T20 pallet trucks, a series of Linde L14-16 stackers, and a Linde T16 pallet truck. These Linde models are already a popular choice for internal logistics, and all product variants have received new designs, safety features, ergonomics, and intelligent functions.

Protected Platform
For the SP models, where the operator stands on the machine during operation, Linde has developed a unique and protected platform. A robust screen at hip height, a secured area within the machine's outer contours, and strong suspension provide a safe driving experience. The operator can lean against a padded backrest, designed so they stand at a 45-degree angle relative to the direction of travel, providing a view of the work area without twisting the neck or back.

Accelerating Logistics
Except for the Linde T16P for walking operators, all new Linde models have increased speed, with most models able to travel up to 14 km/h. Maximum speed is not always an advantage, but over greater distances, the extra speed can save valuable minutes. Additionally, the new machines also offer increased lifting speed in pallet handling.

Linde Curve Assist
What was previously optional equipment is now standard on many Linde models. On the new machines, the Linde Curve Assist system has become standard, automatically reducing speed when driving in curves and turns. This feature reflects Linde’s vision of zero accidents and is expected to lead to safer operation at workplaces.

Foot Sensor for Safety
Feet are often a vulnerable point regarding workplace safety in a warehouse. This insight has led Linde to develop a foot sensor called Linde Feet Detection, which detects when the operator (and thus their feet) leaves the standing platform. Consequently, the driving speed is immediately reduced, and the machine automatically comes to a stop.

Hill-Holder for Inclines
Most people are familiar with the discomfort of rolling back slightly on an incline when starting a vehicle to move forward and upward. To prevent this and enhance safety, most new Linde models are equipped with a Hill-holder function, so they do not roll back when starting on a slope.

“With the new warehouse technology, Linde takes another step up the quality ladder and reaffirms their prominent position in the market. We will see many strong product innovations throughout the new year, which will make a difference for employees at any warehouse. We are really looking forward to presenting this on the Danish market,” says Jesper Bech, Sales Manager at N.C. Nielsen.
