Description

Thanks to the narrow aisle width of just 2950 mm, it is also ideal for use in existing facilities. With its variety of masts, load capacities, battery types and capacities, the truck can be flexibly adapted to individual requirements. The pallet positioning system in combination with the side shifter precisely adjusts the position of the fork arms to the pallet openings, ensuring that goods are handled with millimeter precision, even if the pallet has not been placed exactly in front of it. With its extensive safety features, the R-MATIC k always interacts safely with people, manual trucks, and the logistics infrastructure. If required, the truck can also be controlled manually in Dual Mode.

The optional automated charging solution ensures high truck availability while the Linde MATIC:move and MATIC:move+ software allows the R-MATIC k to be integrated quickly and smoothly into fleets of any size—from the first automation stage through to integration into complex, highly automated system landscapes.
SAFETY
The R-MATIC k is fitted with extensive safety equipment as standard, which reacts reliably to people, trucks, or obstacles in its working area or blocking its path. The 360° safety scanners automatically adapt their monitoring areas to the driving speed and curve radius, so that the R-MATIC k can work safely even in confined spaces. Multi-colored flashing lights provide information about the vehicle status and warn of danger, with acoustic signals providing an additional alarm. Five easily accessible emergency stop switches allow the truck to be stopped immediately in an emergency.

The truck can also be equipped with an optional 2D laser curtain on the sides and in the main direction of travel that detects obstacles in high-up places, such as protruding loads or suspended objects. Additional safety and personal protection is provided by other optional solutions such as the Linde BlueSpot, red warning lines projected onto the floor either side of the truck, or additional safety sensors in front of the load arms.

Handling
The R-MATIC k enables highly efficient automated storage and retrieval of pallets at storage heights of up to 10 meters and, thanks to its compact design, can also work in narrow aisles of up to 2,950 mm. Reflector-based navigation ensures precise control of the storage and retrieval position. In addition, the 2D pallet positioning system in combination with side shifter and fork tilt flexibly adjusts the forks to the position of the pallet so that the goods are picked up and set down precisely. For even more safety, the sensors of the advanced load detection system identify stacked load carriers. The cantilevered fork also allows closed load carriers to be handled at floor level. Lithium-ion batteries are available as an option, which ensure maximum availability thanks to fast charging and automatic opportunity charging.
