Linde P40 C B/60 C

The electric tow tractors P40 – P60 C are designed so that the body and limbs of the driver remain within the protective vehicle contour at all times. The robust cast steel bumper protects the driver and vehicle in the event of a collision. When cornering, the tractor automatically reduces its speed. The P40 – P60 C can be equipped with LED front and rear lights, turn signals, work lights, and brake lights that illuminate the driver’s area of vision or improve the visibility of the vehicle in operating traffic. Linde BlueSpot™is also available as an option.

The ergonomic design of the electric tow tractors P40 – P60 C enables the driver to work without fatigue. The vehicles have an individually adjustable backrest with fold-out seat and a spacious driver’s platform. The control elements on the Linde steering wheel are easy to reach and intuitively arranged. The driver’s seat and steering wheel can be adjusted to suit their size. A wide entrance with low step height simplifies getting in and out. The dashboard, backrest, and driver platform are fully suspended, protecting the driver’s body from shocks. Spacious storage compartments allow the driver to safely stow and quickly reach all work utensils.

The P40 – P60 C offers a towing capacity of 4 to 6 tonnes. Thanks to the powerful and low-maintenance 3 kW engine (2.3 kW with P40 C B) they reach a top speed of 13 km/h without load. The chassis gives the driver an excellent view of the trailer and load. A wide selection of different trailer couplings makes the electric tow tractors compatible with many different trailer types. The height-adjustable Linde steering wheel can be effortlessly operated with one hand and allows the driver to perform precise maneuvers in any direction. The P40–P60 C can also be equipped with innovative lithium-ion batteries from Linde Material Handling.

The robust design of the electric tow tractors P40 – P60 C enables very long maintenance intervals and thus ensures a high availability of the vehicles. The drive wheel can operate for 10,000 hours before re-lubrication is required with no need to readjust the brakes. Non-contact sensors do not wear out. In order to carry out service work effortlessly, all important components of the vehicle are easily accessible and the cable harnesses are clearly arranged.
