SAFETY
The L-MATIC core offers a comprehensive safety concept in line with the highest standards. Its 360° safety scanners continuously monitor the surroundings in all directions. If the truck detects an obstacle in the immediate vicinity, it slows its speed and comes to a gentle stop if necessary. For added safety, a 2D laser curtain can be retrofitted to detect objects above floor level. Linde BlueSpot, an optional safety spotlight, shines a clearly visible light spot onto the floor and makes it easier to see the truck as it approaches. Another optional safety feature is the light solution with warning lines, which ensures that employees keep a safe distance by projecting red strips of light onto the floor. The entire L-MATIC core safety system is based on a proven automation concept that delivers maximum reliability during operation. Emergency stop switches are positioned in easy reach, so the truck can also be manually stopped at any time.

Designed for a constant material flow, the truck continually adjusts its speed to suit the current work situation. Sensors on the fork tip ensure smooth pickups and deposits by checking for available storage spaces. The truck offers reliable load detection based on a sophisticated automation concept that has been proven in the field. Thanks to its automated charging system, the L-MATIC core automatically locates the charging station when its charge drops to a low level, enabling nonstop operation. The truck’s touchscreen features an intuitive user interface for the operator, making it easy to monitor the truck and battery status. The Linde MATIC:move control software guarantees fast commissioning and efficient task, traffic, and energy management. It can also be extended and offers the option of integrating more automated trucks into the fleet to keep pace with growing demands. An external controller can be used to move the truck manually if required.
