The L-MATIC AC k offers a comprehensive safety concept in line with the highest standards. The 360° safety scanners continuously monitor the surroundings in all directions and automatically adapt their range to the driving speed and curve radius, allowing the truck to navigate safely even in the tightest of spaces. If an obstacle is detected in the immediate vicinity, the truck slows its speed and comes to a gentle stop. Various sensors in the fork tips and on the fork carriage reduce errors during storage and retrieval and thus prevent damage to the goods and the racking systems. Acoustic and visual warning signals alert pedestrians and drivers of manual trucks to potential hazards. In an emergency, easily accessible emergency stop switches allow the truck to be brought to an immediate standstill. For additional safety, an optional 2D laser curtain can be selected, which detects objects above floor level, such as protruding loads or suspended objects. This additional function is ideal for automating existing facilities.

Thanks to interfaces to the Linde Warehouse Manager and to common WMS and ERP systems, the L-MATIC AC k can be easily incorporated into existing infrastructures. The Linde MATIC:move control software enables rapid commissioning of the forklift truck and is particularly suitable for smaller automated fleets. If the need for automation increases over time, the truck can also be integrated into larger fleets using MATIC:move+; an easy process thanks to the intuitive touchscreen with user-friendly interface. If required, it is possible to switch from automatic to manual mode at any time. An optional function for automatic charging maximizes the availability of the truck and enables continuous operation without manual intervention.
