  • Description

German Linde trucks are known for their innovative truck technology that contributes to increased efficiency and profitability at companies, warehouses and distribution centres. An example is Linde’s intelligent Dynamic Mast Control (DMC) that is developed for quick, safe and accurate pallet handling with reach trucks.

Linde DMC stabilises each lift, and the result is minimal vertical oscillations when pallets are placed or retrieved from the racks. The system ensures optimal balance as the operator does no have to wait for the load to “calm down” before placing it or retrieving it from the rack. That ensures a flexible work cycle at the warehouse.

  • Time saved, money saved

Calculations show that Linde DMC saves up to 17.3 seconds for each pallet lift compared to conventional reach trucks. This can add up to an annual saving of 91 hours during a five-day work week where the truck operates seven hours a day with a lifting height of 8.4 metres. That equals an annual amount of approx. DKK 17,000, and savings obviously increase in line with more operating hours.

  • New heights within lifting technology

The Linde DMC technology particularly comes into its own when pallets are lifted at heights of more than eight metres and when the operator places the load precisely on the rack or efficiently retrieves it without any waiting time and without displacing the load:

    - We’ve seen a trend of even higher shelves at modern warehouses and distribution centres. That challenges the lifting technology of a reach truck and the operator who would like to work efficiently without compromising on safety. The Linde DMC technology makes the work flow more cost-effective and optimises productivity at the warehouse, says Allan Christensen, Sales Manager, N.C. Nielsen, which imports and sells Linde trucks to the Nordic market.

  • Sensitive sensors

The DMC system from Linde is a sensor-controlled system that automatically compensates for oscillation and movements in the mast. The system continuously creates proper stability in the process so that the operator can handle the pallets quickly, efficiently and safely:

    - The DMC technology is the new generation within reach trucks. The operator should not have to bother with adjusting the pallets back and forth on the shelves as that is a time-consuming process. Technology makes it possible to place the pallets in a more uniform manner and prevent damage to racks, pallets and cardboard boxes. All in all, the Linde DMC technology results in more profitable logistics at the warehouse, says Allan Christensen, Sales Manager, N.C. Nielsen.
